Hosting, Domain Name Setup and Email Addresses

Web hosting

Hosting is the 'housing' of a web site. Your web site must physically reside on a computer (a server) that's connected to the internet. We can host your website on our own reliable servers to ensure your website is always available to your clients and to us in case you need any updates. If you would like to manage updates your self, we can also give you your own FTP username and password to access the website. Read more here about how you can manage your own updates.

We charge yearly for hosting according to the size and complexity of your website. Please note that we do not offer hosting as an individual service, only as an extra to a web site designed by ourselves.

Domain Names

A domain name is the address (or URL) of your website e.g. www.your-company-name.com. We can register your domain and set up forwarding to our servers so that you just have to deal with one tidy annual bill. We can also help you decide on a domain name if you're having trouble choosing one or finding a good one that's available.

Email Addresses

Pave Graphics can also set up email addresses to go with your new domain name, e.g. you@your-company-name.com. We can give you details and passwords to set this up on an email programme such as Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird, and we also have a web-based email client so you can pick up your mail from any computer with internet access
